First launch: macOS security
The first time you open Calcator, macOS may block it because the app is not yet distributed through the Mac App Store with Apple’s notarization. You can allow it safely from System Settings (do not move to trash).
Allow Calcator from System Settings
- Open System Settings (Apple menu → System Settings).
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to the Security section. You should see a note about Calcator being blocked.
- Click Open Anyway
- Open Calcator from Applications or Launchpad as usual.
Alternative: In Finder, Control-click (or right-click) Calcator → Open → Open in the dialog. That tells Gatekeeper you trust this run.
